Hello! I’m Hayley - the friendly face behind-the-lens at Beau and Arrow Films.
As creative director, I’m dedicated to your video from first concept to final product. Whether it is your Wedding Film; Newborn/Birth Film; a special event; or content for your business - my driving force is ensuring that your film is a true reflection of your story or event.
As your videographer, I will:
take the time to get to know who you are & what matters to you;
capture the big moments and the ‘small but significant’ details;
shoot your footage in a way that is respectful and non-intrusive;
and you’ll find me to be warm, friendly, and open to ideas!
Finally, as your editor/filmmaker - I am dedicated to creating a cinematic heirloom that you will want to watch again and again and again. A moment in time, captured with love, that will last you forever.

My approach is to keep things simple and relaxed - less about the gear, more about the moment being captured. No performing, just beautiful realness.
I use handheld cameras; easily moveable tri/monopods; small (but mighty!) audio recording devices; and I simply work with the natural light of the day. In post-production I will colour grade your film, but only to enhance the footage, always maintaining the colours as they were naturally captured.
Did you know? I’ve been in the Wedding industry since 2014 (initially as a marriage Celebrant), so I have a large network of contacts should you need any recommendations - amazing and friendly photographers; ride-or-die Celebrants; DJs / musicians; the best venues, or off-the-beaten-track locations - you name it! If you need some planning advice, or just want to run any ideas by me - please go for it. It would be my pleasure to help.

Nick and I have been happily married for 10 years now, and have two gorgeous kids - Beau (haha, yes, he did inspire the name!) and Georgie.
We live in Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland with our little kitty, Milly (who keeps me company whilst I edit - and will no doubt come to say “hello” if you visit us for your pre-Wedding consult!).
Family is everything to me. I love my family so much. When we’re not working, we enjoy travelling and exploring; good food; music; and - of course - great films & TV! (We have an eclectic taste - but particularly enjoy Outlander; Game of Thrones; any good British drama; Masterchef AU, and F.R.I.E.N.D.S reruns, for good measure!).
