Family Moments films capture the everyday beauty of family life: laughter, movement, closeness, and the quiet spaces in between. This is an opportunity to be witnessed, and to see yourself within your own life.

From the simplicity of time spent at home, to favourite places and milestone celebrations - when created regularly, these films become a visual record of time passing, and love deepening.

A Family Moments Film is an observational record of your family as you are, right now.
I film quietly and unobtrusively as you spend time together - at home, at the park, on the beach, or enjoying a celebration such as a child’s birthday party. There’s no posing or directing; just space for moments to breathe naturally.
These films are especially meaningful when created regularly over the years, becoming a living archive of family life as it evolves.

- relaxed, 60-minute film session
- keepsake film + still-frames
A Family Story Film weaves everyday moments with a gentle, relaxed interview, allowing your family’s story to be told in your own words.
Alongside natural footage, I guide a conversation about this season of life - what matters to you, what you love about one another, and what you might want to remember in years to come.
This style is ideal for milestone birthdays; marking a new chapter; or capturing intergenerational stories. The result is a deeply personal film that holds both memory and meaning.

Legacy films are interview-led and reflective, created to preserve a life story - or chapter’s of a life story.
These films often focus on parents, grandparents, or elders - capturing memories, values, experiences, and wisdom to be passed down through generations.
Filmed slowly, and with care, legacy films are shaped through presence, conversation, and connection - creating something timeless, intimate, and profoundly meaningful.
Legacy Films are filmed in the comfort of your own living room, using a simple camera set-up and audio recorders. Discounts are available for multiple family members.

FAQs

Once you have decided to book a film session with me, I will gently guide the process - firstly by getting to know you through a zoom call or over a coffee. The filming session itself is extremely relaxed; usually in your own home. No effort, preparation, or ‘performance’ is required from you! I will work my magic, capturing you beautifully, just as you are.
With my Family Films, you have two options - the ‘family story’ films involve a recorded interview, which is weaved into a narrative for your film. The ‘family moments’ films do not include an interview, just natural moments between you.
My Legacy Films also have two options - either a ‘story film’ (single film) that captures the essence of your life’s story; or ‘chapter films’ (multiple films), which cover the various chapters of your/your loved one’s life.
And with my Maternity/Birth/Newborn Films there are many options, including combo packages, covering pregnancy, birth, and newborn sessions. Please enquire to discuss in detail! I’d love to hear from you!
I will keep you up-to-date with my progress - you will typically receive your film gallery within a month of your filming session. I don’t like to rush the creative process, but if you need a quick turnaround please just let me know - I will always do my best to accommodate.
Yes! Whilst video is my primary service, I do offer photography as an ‘add on’ or as a stand alone service to my family clients. Please ask me for a personal quote & we can discuss your needs.

Absolutely! I love to travel — please let me know your location and I’ll create a custom quote to cover my travel expenses (if you’re outside Auckland). NB for birth stories, due to the on call nature of labour, I currently only cover Auckland’s North Shore.
